RainforestCreations was born from a desire to invest and create a "generational" work of art - something worth passing on, something incredible. Like so many good things, it was also born from a problem. In recent decades, Panama's indigenous tribes have produced some of the finest artists in the world, particularly in carving and weaving. Unfortunately, the pandemic left a declining art market in ruins and talented artists struggling to find work. A celebrated artist with no market (Freire Mémbora) and an ambitious art investor (Stephen Foster) were teamed up by their friend and brother (Alan Foster) to join Stephen's unique idea with Freire's incomparable skill and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece chess set. Stephen had another idea. Alan had one, too. Freire needed another job. So did his friend. RainforestCreations was born.
